 District #348 Announces Plan To Begin To Move Schools… Volunteers Welcome

 Starting on Tuesday, May 30th, Wabash District #348 will begin to move grade levels to their assigned buildings for next school year.  The move will start  with Mt. Carmel Middle School.  District officials anticipate the move from Mt. Carmel Middle School (7th & 8th grades) to Mt. Carmel Junior High School to take approximately 2 weeks. Multiple groups/people have inquired about assisting with the move.  The district would very much appreciate that help  To assist with the move, individuals will have to sign a waiver before they are allowed to help. The District has 3 covered trailers that they will be using but welcome any others. Anyone wanting to help with the move from MCMS to MCJHS can report to MCMS at 7:00 AM on Tuesday. If you can’t help on that day and would like to assist on other days, please call Kim at the District Office (618-262-4181) so you can be added to the list of volunteers. The schedule for the entire move is:

 May 30-June 8 = MCMS (grades 7 & 8) to MCJHS (High School)

June 12-22 = NICE (grades 3, 4, & 5) to MCGS (Formerly MCMS)

June 26-29 = South (grades K, 1, & 2 to MCES (Formerly NICE)    

 The District would like to thank the many people and organizations that donated boxes for this move.  Once again, we have received a great outpouring of support from our community.  Thank you!

 

 

 

With the relocating of grades at the three buildings for the 2017-2018 school year, the district is in need of boxes for moving classrooms.  We are in need of up to 3,000 boxes.

Please help us out by saving your boxes that would be suitable for moving and drop them off at South School, North Intermediate, or the Middle School. You can also call the district office at 618-262-4181 to schedule a pickup.
