MISSION STATEMENT
“It will be the mission of the Foundation to fully serve as a fundraising organization for the betterment of Mt. Carmel High School. All profits made and specific donations received at the end of each year will go directly to support projects and events selected by the Administration of Mt. Carmel High School.
All activities and functions will always be conducted to raise funds or bring awareness to the needs of Mt. Carmel High School.”

ALUMNI MEMBERSHIPS
The MCHS Alumni Foundation created the “Lifetime Membership Program” in October of 2007.
The only qualification to become a member of the program is to be a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School and to make a lifetime gift of $500 to the Alumni Foundation.
This gift entitles the donor to free entry to any academic, art, athletic, drama or music event sponsored by Mt. Carmel High School. The only exclusion of this free entry is to state tournament playoff games which are sanctioned by the Illinois High School Association (IHSA).
The person who has made a gift of $500 will receive a membership card with their name and the year that they graduated. In addition, recognition of our Lifetime members will be made on the Lifetime Membership plaque displayed in the Main Hall of the Mt. Carmel High School.
Beginning June of 2023, two family members may make a Lifetime Membership purchase for $750 and receive the same benefits and recognition as a single donor.
The MCHS Alumni “Annual Membership Program” is $25 per person and entitles the Alumni Member to free admission to the Social Hour and Dance held on Saturday evening during the Homecoming Weekend of activities.

ANNUAL ACTIVITIES
Since 1993, the MCHS Alumni Foundation has worked to create a true “homecoming” for our alumni by providing activities and opportunities that bring classmates, friends and families together for the Homecoming Weekend each year.
Beginning on Friday of the Homecoming Weekend, the MCHS parade starts at 3:30 p.m. The Foundation sponsors the Alumni Uptown to provide a gathering spot for our alumni and community members to kick off the Homecoming Weekend and to watch the parade. The Alumni Uptown is held in the Merchants Park with tables and seating provided along with food and refreshments for purchase.
The MCHS Golden Aces hold their Homecoming Football Game at the Snake Pit on Friday evening.
On Saturday morning, the MCHS Alumni Golf Tournament is held where all alumni and any member of the community are invited to play in the 4-Man Scramble. Immediately following the tournament, food and refreshments are served along with the presentation of awards.
On Saturday, a Tour of Mt. Carmel High School is held from 10:00 – 11:00 p.m.
On Saturday evening, the All-School Social Hour and Dance is held from 6:30 – 11:30 p.m.
MCHS MILITARY HALL OF FAME
In addition, a student who attended Mt. Carmel High School and lost their life while serving their country will automatically qualify for the MCHS Military Hall of Fame.
