Together we Ace

LOOKING FOR HELP?

The Aces family is always here for you. But sometimes speaking with a counselor, trusted teacher or friend is not the sort of support that you need. If you find yourself in need of someone to confide in who is not part of the Aces community, take a look at these national resources to help.

988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

In crisis or seeking emotional support? Call or text 988 or chat online at 988lifeline.org/chat

The 988 Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the United States. We're committed to improving crisis services and advancing suicide prevention by empowering individuals, advancing professional best practices, and building awareness.

988 is now the three-digit dialing code that routes callers to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (or 988 Lifeline)

When people call, text, or chat with the 988 Lifeline, they are connected to trained crisis counselors who are part of the existing 988 Lifeline network, made up of over 200 local crisis centers. These crisis counselors are trained to provide free and confidential emotional support and crisis counseling to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress and connect them to resources. These services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, across the United States.

Each school building's counselor will have brochures and cards available for students and staff.
