This summer Wabash CUSD #348 students who will be in grades 6-8 in the fall have the opportunity to take free summer band lessons in June! We got off to a great start last week with over a dozen students taking part in just the first week. Students are making their own goals to work towards, such as finishing their method book, catching up to their grade level, learning a new instrument or working on special ILMEA music. Lessons are available for individual or small groups Mondays-Thursdays at the MCGS band room. In addition, next year's 5th graders will be having their first lessons as part of the "Beginning Band Bootcamp" during the week of June 21-24.
