MCGS recently participated in cheering on members of the Gold Star Mission 500 as they rode down Poplar Street on September 23rd. This organization honors the service and sacrifice of the servicemen and women from Illinois who gave their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan in honor of our nation. MCGS students and staff, wearing red, white and blue and waving flags, lined the street and cheered the participants as they rode by.
