"It takes a village to raise a child." And the Mt. Carmel community is one of the best! Several community members with strong science backgrounds came together to judge the 8th-grade students, who presented their science fair projects for evaluation and the chance to compete at the Regional Fair held at SIU Carbondale in March. A big thank you goes out to these folks for giving up several hours of their workday to support our school.
