The 7th grade boys basketball game scheduled for Thursday, January 20th at Fairfield has been cancelled. There will now be one 8th grade game starting at 6:00pm.
As a reminder, lunches will be available to be picked up from the cafeteria between 12-12:30 pm while the junior high and high school are in remote learning. On the lunch menu for tomorrow is pizza and Friday is burritos. Stay safe and healthy!!! Go Aces!!!
Due to an increase in the absences of faculty and staff, Mount Carmel High School and Mount Carmel Junior High School students will go into remote learning for the rest of this week. January 20 to January 21. Over the weekend, we will assess the situation and make a determination on resuming in school learning. All extra curricular activities will remain on schedule. It is great to have students back in the building after the Christmas break. The students and staff were pleasantly surprised by the new look of the office hallway. It was neat to hear some of their comments to each other as the students and staff were passing through the hallways; "Was this painted? It looks great.", "Wow, you should do this to all of the hallways." and my favorite, "It looks like a brand new building." This project was paid for by the MCHS Alumni Foundation under the direction of Emily Teague.

Junior High Athletic Announcement:
Junior High Volleyball Tryouts will be on Monday, December 20th and Tuesday, December 21st from 4:15pm-6:15pm. Additionally, there will be an Open Gym prior to tryouts on Sunday, December 19th from 6:45pm-8:15pm. Tryouts and Open Gyms will be held at Mt. Carmel Grade School. Tryouts will be for any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade girl interested in playing volleyball this year.

The Junior High Wrestling match scheduled for Saturday, December 11th will now be at Red Hill High School. The match will start at 9:00am.
Spirit of Giving - Pictured is a crew from B & D Independence who donated the stair railings at the main entrance of the Mount Carmel Jr./Sr. High School. B & D Independence volunteered to do this as a community service project. It is great to have such wonderful community partners who give in many ways. The Mt. Carmel Jr. High Boys Basketball game scheduled for Tuesday, November 23rd against Albion has been MOVED to Wednesday, December 15th. 7th grade will start at 6:00 with the 8th grade game to follow.

Should a fan not have a smartphone to purchase tickets online with , we have a plan in place to assist them.
