MCGS- Morning Drop off- In an effort to relieve the traffic congestion on Poplar Street during student drop off in the morning, we will be offering an additional entrance to cars dropping off students between 7:40-8:10. Beginning Tuesday, January 12th, parents may use the Oak Street entrance (previously used for buses only). Cars will enter and follow the road to the stop sign where we will have staff positioned to take temperatures. After students are checked and exit the vehicle, traffic will be directed to exit onto Poplar Street.
As a reminder, MCGS doors open at 7:40AM. Unless your child walks or rides their bike to school, you are required to drive through and wait with your child until they pass the health screening.
Please feel free to use either entrance (Poplar Street or Oak Street) beginning Tuesday, January 12th during drop off. We hope this alleviates some of the wait time. Thank you for working with us as we continue to streamline our drop off procedures.
