The MCHS girls tennis match scheduled for today at Olney, has now been POSTPONED. We are looking at possible dates to reschedule this match.
The MCHS girls golf match at Harrisburg and boys golf match at home, have both been CANCELLED for today due to the excessive heat.
The MCHS Girls Tennis match scheduled for today in Olney will now begin at 5:30pm. The bus will now leave at 4:00pm.
The Mt. Carmel High School JV football game scheduled for Monday, September 2nd has been changed. Mt. Carmel will now be playing a fresh/soph game AT Eldorado on Monday, September 2nd at 6:00pm.
The Mt. Carmel High School volleyball match scheduled for Thursday, August 29th against Edwards County will now be played at Mt. Carmel Grade School.
The freshmen match will start at 5:00pm, the JV will start at 6:00pm, with the varsity match to follow.
The Mt. Carmel High School boys and girls golf matches scheduled for today at home against Robinson have been cancelled due to the excessive heat.
Computer Apps students in Mrs. Witsman's room are working on a career unit. Ask your child what career cluster he/she scored highest in and what path interests him/her for the future!
2024 Homecoming will be the Weekend of September 20 and 21.
The Homecoming Parade will be at 3:30 p.m.. Those wishing to participate in the parade should line up in the back parking lot of the high school by 3:00 p.m.
The Homecoming Game will be at 7:00 p.m. against the Newton Eagles, with the crowning of the Queen during Halftime.
On Saturday, September 21, the Homecoming Dance for the High School will be from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Grade School Cafetorium. Admission is $5. If a student is taking a non-Mt. Carmel student, they must fill out and return a from the high school office by September 13th.

MCHS and MCJHS are happy to host Welcome Back Night on Wednesday, August 7th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. This is a great time for incoming freshmen and incoming 7th graders to walk through their schedules and familiarize themselves more with our building. It is also a great time for students to stop by the guidance office if they have any questions about their schedules. Can't wait to see everyone!
