Please bring items for the animal shelter to the first home girls basketball game tonight. FBLA will have a table for donations. You can still donate items in Mrs. Witsman's room until Thanksgiving break. This supports their #GivingTuesday campaign for this holiday season!


Kassidy Drone, Senior at Mount Carmel High School, will sign a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball for Wabash Valley College, Mt. Carmel IL. Her signing will take place on Tuesday, November 19 at 5:00 pm in the Main Lobby at Mount Carmel High School. The community is invited to attend the signing.

Mayor Joe Judge visited Mr. Kieffer and Mrs. Destefano's Civic Classes today at MCHS. He discussed the ins and outs of being mayor and what’s to come for the city of Mount Carmel. Thank you Mayor Judge.

Private Sebastian Lowe, who graduated with the MCHS class of 2019 visited Mrs. Deisher's English class. He recently graduated from Boot Camp and is a Marine. In one photo Staff Sergeant Handzus is also included.

Dilara Akpinar, a junior ambassador of Germany visited Mrs. Deisher’s English Class. She is a member of the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange program. She is currently enrolled at Wabash Valley College in the Business Administration program.

Are you interested in a career in social work, adoption, or the medical field? Then attend a career presentation by Peyton Farmer in the Auditorium on Thursday, Nov. 14th sponsored by the Interact Club. Peyton is a social worker currently working in Taiwan and will be sharing about her career and the children she works with in the orphanage.
To attend, please sign up in the guidance office - the presentation will start at 2:30 and you will be excused from class early.

The America's Farmers Grow Ag Leaders program, sponsored by the Bayer Fund, is offering students an opportunity to earn a $1,500 scholarship in an ag-related field of study.
