The MCHS Baseball Game scheduled for today at Evansville Christian has been postponed.
The game will be rescheduled for Thursday, April 4th at 5:30pm. The game will be played behind the McCutchanville Elementary School.
In order to allow seniors to participate in the annual Ride Your Bike to School, we have moved the date up to April 26! Please use the form to order and pay for shirts by April 12 at 3 PM. If you order a shirt, your lunch will be provided by FBLA that day. We will be meeting at the First Baptist Church at 7 AM to ride to school together. They will be providing donuts and drinks for all bikers. All students and staff are welcome to join without purchasing a shirt, however, they will not receive a free lunch. Plan on joining us!

The MCHS baseball game scheduled for Thursday, March 28th at home against Grayville has been postponed due to Grayville having low numbers this week. We are working on finding a date to reschedule.
The MCHS baseball games scheduled for today against Flora and Friday against North Clay will both start at 4:00pm and be played at Dee White Field.

The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the new building at the Mt. Carmel High School with The Wabash County Chamber is scheduled for April 2nd at 4 p.m. After the ceremony,

The MCHS Softball Game scheduled for today at home against Oblong has been postponed. The game has been rescheduled for tomorrow at 4:30pm at 4th St Ballpark.
The PE department just wrapped up a Basketball Tournament. Mr Simmons and Mrs. Schilb worked hard to organize a round-robin and bracket-style tournament.
The MCHS Baseball game scheduled for today against Lawrenceville will now begin at 4:00pm at Dee White Field.
The MCHS Baseball game scheduled for tomorrow in Fairfield will now start with Varsity at 1:00pm and the JV game to follow. The bus will now leave at 11:15am.
Elks Hal R. Johnson Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship applicants must be Children, Grandchildren, and Stepchildren of members of Mt. Carmel Elks Lodge #715. Members must be in good standing at the time of application and must have been members in good standing for at least two (2) years before application.
Scholarship awards will be available to graduating MCHS Seniors intending to attend post-secondary schools.
Scholarships can be used at a College or University of choice. Funds will be administered through a voucher system directly to the College upon verification of enrollment.
Applications will be based primarily on: Academic Achievement, Extra extracurricular activities, Community Service/Involvement, and Financial Need.
Applications are available in the Guidance Office. The deadline is April 26, 2024.
Illinois Oil and Gas Association Scholarship
The Tri-State Desk and Derrick Technical or Trade School scholarship opportunity is offered to a worthy high school graduate or GED recipient who plans to attend a trade school in 2024. The goal of this scholarship program is to provide the means for an individual to obtain a trade that is likely to be used in the oil, gas, and energy industries.
Minimum Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen; Must have a career goal in the natural gas and oil industry; No age restrictions as long as the applicant has a high school diploma, GED, or high school transcript showing completion through homeschooling; Must be an Indiana, Illinois or Kentucky resident OR a student attending, or planning to attend an accredited Indiana, Illinois or Kentucky technical or trade school. If awarded, must maintain an equivalent of a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
